Jordan Casteel and Massimiliano Gioni in Conversation

Please join Massimiliano Gioni, Edlis Neeson Artistic Director of the New Museum, and artist Jordan Casteel, as they discuss Jordan Casteel: Within Reach. The exhibition brings together nearly forty paintings spanning Casteel’s career, including works from her celebrated series, Visible Man (2013—14) and Nights in Harlem (2017). An alumni of the Studio Museum’s Artist-in-Residence program from  2015—16, this is Casteel’s first museum solo exhibition in New York City. We are grateful for the New Museum’s partnership in organizing the evening’s program.
