Calling all teens! Want to learn how to take better pictures with your digital camera this summer? Come participate in an exciting photography workshop led by artist Ray A. Llanos, where you’ll learn key steps to taking amazing photographs. Begin with a gallery tour of photographs by artists Zwelethu Mthethwa, James Van Der Zee and the Expanding the Walls 2010 participants. Then join us for a “HandsOn” experience, where you’ll focus on digital photography techniques and composition while taking pictures around the Harlem community. If you have a digital camera, bring it with you! (If not, we’ll have one for you.)
HandsOn is FREE, and designed especially for teens only, ages 13-17! Lunch will be provided. Space is limited, pre-registration is required.
PLEASE NOTE: This program is on Saturday, July 31, NOT Friday, July 30 as erroneously stated in our recent email. We apologize for any inconvenience.
