Join us for a conversation between multidisciplinary artist Kiyan Williams and author Darnell Moore. This discussion takes the form of a live oral history interview and both explores and exemplifies Williams’ interest in memory, preservation, and diasporic subjectivities. Conducted by author, activist, and collaborator Darnell Moore, this oral history will live in the NYC Trans Oral History Project archive. This program is presented in partnership with the New York City Trans Oral History Project and is accompanied by The Artist’s Voice: Anaïs Duplan in a duet of programs that explore the lives and creative practices of trans* and gender-nonconforming artists of African descent.
