The Studio Museum’s building at 144 W. 125th Street is closed for construction of our new museum.

Studio Museum 127, our temporary exhibition space, is located at 429 West 127th Street between Amsterdam and Convent Avenues. Opening hours are Thursday through Sunday, 12 to 6 pm.

Our inHarlem initiative also presents exhibitions and events at a variety of partner and satellite locations in Harlem. Other programs take place at additional partner locations throughout the city and beyond. Check out our calendar for full details on specific programming.

The Studio Museum in Harlem is committed to making its exhibitions, programs, and services accessible to all who visit. The Museum's lobby, main gallery, gift shop, restrooms, atrium, and sculpture court are wheelchair accessible, and the theatre, additional galleries and education and project spaces can be reached with the use of an elevator. Guided tours are available for all exhibitions to ensure that individuals with a range of abilities can experience the Museum. Tours tailored to visitors with physical or developmental challenges can also be arranged. For public programs, accommodation can be made for visitors in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

Uniformed security guards, stationed at the entrance and throughout the Museum can help direct visitors to appropriate facilities and resources, as well as assist with First Aid. Appropriately documented service animals are welcome at the Museum. The Museum's website is accessible—and usable—for all Internet users and for the full range of browsing platforms and devices such as screen readers, PDAs, and mobile phones.
