On the final day of our Last Look weekend, artists perform in the galleries and activate artworks in Fictions through socially-engaged conversation, poetry, music, and movement.

During a day-long performance of Sherrill Roland's The Jumpsuit Project, the artist invites members of the public to join him in one-on-one conversations in his visitation booth exploring the complex impacts of mass incarceration. Afterwards, join Sable Elyse Smith and Richard Kennedy for in-gallery performances, beginning with a reading of Smith's original poetry and followed by a presentation of Kennedy's dynamic music, motion, and voice.

This event is a part of Last Look, a four-day celebration of art and artists from our final exhibition season in our current building.
