Since our founding in 1968, the Museum has offered an intensive, annual studio residency for emerging visual artists of African and Latino descent. Twice a year the artists open their studios to the public to discuss works in progress and share valuable insight into their practices. An exhibition of their work culminates the residency, and artists participate in additional programs and events throughout the year.
